I would say that seasons 5-7 of Scrubs were not good. Moderately funny, but the characters started to get annoying.

Somehow, miraculously, they are saving the characters while making the show top-notch-hilarious again.

Mikenna and I caught up on the first 10 episodes of season 8* over the past couple of days and I was laughing harder and more frequently than I have in a while … for any show.

Even if this is your last season, most shows don’t go out on their strongest material.

So far so good.

* I tried to watch the episodes on ABC.com. I had already watched a couple on the site and I didn’t mind the ads because of the convenience factor (hint hint major media providers) but for some reason I could only watch the 4 most recent episodes of the show. We needed to catch up on all the episodes so I resorted to downloading them. Sorry ABC, I really tried. I do want to support all the online stuff the networks are doing.
